Hunting Methods
Archery
We utilize ground blinds along with spot & stalk, in conjunction with bugling. We hunt from sunrise to sunset, normally returning to camp in the early afternoon for the main meal.
In order to assure proper arrow placement and a quick, humane kill, you must be able to consistently shoot a 6 inch pattern at 35 yards. More Information
Firearm
We hunt from sunrise until late morning, than take a break and back into the field from afternoon until sunset. Hunting is done by spot & stock in conjunction with bugling (depending on the bull's still being in the rut)
Hunters orange must be worn at all times when you are in the field. A hunters orange hat or vest will suffice. Scoped rifles sighted in at 200 or 300 yards, 7mm caliber or larger for elk. More Information
